My city-based daughter recently utilised a lovely rural location for her wedding. In the days before the wedding, as an eager father, I asked if there was anything else that was needed. My daughter replied “Nothing thanks dad – it’s all done” - except we ran out of time to organise a videographer. I did not want to be an interfering father however I did want my daughter to have a keepsake of her day.
I placed a “job ad” on Oneflare and this is where our good fortune began. Nick quickly responded to the advertisement with a quote which we considered very reasonable and the detail in the quote proved to us that he understood our brief. We decided to engage Nick’s services meeting him on location hours before the wedding. Things only got better from there with my confidence immediatley buidling with his professionalism and good nature.
Working with Nick
Throughout the day, Nick went about his work in an unobtrusive, quiet and friendly approach - So much so, that I needed to remind myself that he was even there. I have been to several weddings where the videographer believes they are the centre of attention which is certainly not the case with Nick! Even though the weather was terrible, Nick filmed without fuss for most of the day including into the evening then he willingly agreed to stay when asked for an extra hour even though he had two hours of driving back to home – Nick graciously even extended this extra hour by a further twenty minutes until he was happy that he had fully completed his task.
In a timely manner via online delivery, we have just received two clips - the shorter highlights and a full-length version. The results truly speak for themselves. Nick has excelled with an incredibly professional production that is simply perfect in every detail – from the camera angles, the voice recordings and the edited in personal music choices to the scenes that he has personally chosen to be included. The production is of the highest quality and is just superb with the editing being the ultimate masterpiece. We (especially my daughter and her new husband) are thrilled and so happy with the results that if you are considering another videographer for your wedding, you can only find lesser value elsewhere so will make the very right choice in Nick.
Conclusion
